Gospel music has inspired generations with its passion, beauty, and soul. But as the Rev. Gregory Staten says in the new documentary film Patrinell: The Total Experience about his sister, Pastor Pat Wright and her world-famous, Total Experience Gospel Choir, if you don’t understand the message in gospel songs, you don’t truly understand the music.
Pastor Wright and Rev. Staten will be the presenters at RBPC’s 2019 Christian Spirituality Conference on Saturday, November 16th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
In the morning session, Pastor Wright will share her amazing voice with us and her brother will elaborate on the gospel message of Jesus that shines within her songs.
We’ll have a box lunch, and then in the afternoon we’ll watch the powerful documentary about Pastor Wright, Seattle’s “First Lady of Gospel,” and her founding and forty-five years of directing the Total Experience Gospel Choir.
